Podpadding?

What the hell is it all about? Well it’s about what you want it to be about really.

We will work to create the setting for you and we will try to make your camping experience one to remember and, one to tell your mates about and, one to come back to.

Podpadding grew organically from within the UK Music Festival scene – designed and developed by festival-goers for festival enthusiasts.

From the original 2004 ‘podpad’ we have developed a collection of 9 different units to suit your group size, budget and your level of expectations – see simple table guide below to help you choose the unit best suited to your needs. 

We will provide accommodation ready for your arrival, all with suitable beds, mattresses, storage space, power and lockable doors as appropriate.

We will create a safe, secure chilled environment for you where you can relax with friends, meet new friends and feel secure in your personal and communal space.

There will usually be security checking wristbands at the entrance, better and more toilets and showers exclusively for guests in the area and, there will often be a catering concession/café and other added value goodies, depending on Festival provision

We will have our friendly team of Podpads Receptionists to meet you when you arrive and to take care of your every need throughout the weekend. The Reception Area will serve as a Central Hub for your questions and information, we can charge your mobiles (if you have forgotten your personal charger) and, we can rehydrate you with free tea, coffee and cold drinks throughout your stay.

So ‘podpadding’ is really about your comfort and your experience. It aims to take the hassle and the hard work out of camping. It certainly guarantees you a better pitch along with like-minded neighbours who will surely become your friends and, at the end of the weekend – you just walk away and leave the keys behind.

However, whilst we can do so much to enhance your weekend – there is one thing we cannot fix for you and, that is The Weather. For all the comforts and improved facilities available in the Podpads Area, the weather is still well outside our control and the resulting conditions underfoot can often be less than ideal around the site. Despite all our efforts to create a Luxury or Glamping experience - at the end of the day: it is still camping in a field. Whether it is the rainstorms of the UK or, the sun’s rays in Croatia, please come prepared for the local climate and enjoy your stay.
