'Playpad' - Fantasy Play-house/Den

Every child’s dream escape ‘pad’ set up in the security of your own garden. Set up as a games room, a fairy princess’s castle, a dirty camouflaged den, or a football club dug-out - allow your child’s imagination to run wild.

The ‘Playpad’ can come to you already custom painted to suit your preference - see available finshes/options.

Or, you can order a blank canvas ‘Playpad’, sanded, undercoated and prepared for you to decorate on arrival.

The beauty of the ‘Playpad’ is that 2 adults can build and pack away the unit in less than 30 minutes with no need for power tools, drills or screwdrivers. Once packed away the ‘Playpad’ takes up less than a foot depth of space when leant against a wall.
If there is no garage - a heavy duty PVC zippy-up case can be supplied to allow for dry outside storage all year round.
Designed and built in our countryside workshops near Bath, the ‘Playpad’ is made from just 6 hard-wearing and durable Birch plywood panels @ 15mm or 18mm.

FLOOR
The ‘Playpad’ comes without a floor as standard, ready to set up on your lawn, sandy area or patio decking However there are two options to make your ’Playpad’ more comfortable and weatherproof
1). We offer an optional heavy duty 540gsm PVC groundsheet with returns all-round – available in Dark green or cream.
2). Our specially developed modular click-fit wooden floor which comes in three manageable sections @ 800x1800mm.
Once assembled, choose from our floor covering to fit:
i] sisal matting
ii] vinyl flooring – choice of styles from laminate floor; black & white check; treadplate style.

WINDOWS
The ‘Playpad’ comes with 4 cut-out windows (2 to the front and one at each gable end) as standard. These windows come as ‘open’ to the elements. To make your ‘Playpad’ more weatherproof if left set up for a period of time, there is the opportunity to order a set of 4 windows - safety approved 3mm clear or tinted acrylic window panels. These can be either: 1). Simple take-off/put-on Velcro fitted panels - which can be stored safely away from the ‘Playpad’ or simply attached to the walls beneath the window apertures in the course of day-to-day play.. 2). Supplied fixed to the ‘Playpad’ with hinges – allowing for the window panel to hinge down and easily close again with Velcro pads to fasten closed.

CHIMNEY
A sit-on-top chimney can be added as an extra – see picture for that real gingerbread cottage in the woods feel.

DOOR FURNITURE
A barn style latch comes as standard, allowing the door to close, yet allowing easy access from both outside and in. A traditional back door lock with key could be added for security.
