The ‘Podpad’ has served as weekend accommodation for two sharing, for more than 10 years to the discerning festival-goer and the occasional big-name star. With the optional extras available – flooring, beds, furniture, electricity or, simply your own airbeds or camping mats, the ‘Podpad’ guarantees a good night’s sleep and gets your guests off the sofabed and out of the sitting room.
Electric extension leads can be supplied for added comfort and luxury.
The ‘Podpad’ can come to you already custom painted to suit your preference - see available finshes/options. Or, you can order a blank canvas ‘Podpad’, sanded, undercoated and prepared for you to decorate on arrival.
The beauty of the ‘podpad’ is that 2 adults can build and pack away the unit in less than 30 minutes with no need for power tools, drills or screwdrivers. Once packed away the ‘podpad’ takes up less than a foot depth of space when leant against a wall.
If there is no garage - a heavy duty PVC zippy-up case can be supplied to allow for dry outside storage all year round.
Designed and built in our countryside workshops near Bath, the ‘Podpad’ is made from just 6 hard-wearing and durable Birch plywood panels @ 15mm or 18mm.

Floor
The ‘Podpad’ comes as standard, without a floor - ready to set up on your lawn, sandy area or patio decking
However there are two options to make your ’Podpad’ more comfortable inside and weatherproof underfoot.
1 - We offer an optional heavy duty 540gsm PVC groundsheet with returns all-round – available in dark green or cream.
2 - Our specially developed modular click-fit wooden floor which comes in 3 manageable sections @ 800x1800mm. Once assembled, choose from our floor covering to fit -
i] Sisal matting
ii] Vinyl flooring – choice of styles from laminate floor; black & white check or, treadplate style
3 - Further enhance your ‘Podpad’ with an optional decking panel, adding an additional 800mm floor space x full width of the unit(~1800mm).
Windows
The ‘Podpad’ comes with a casement style window with a coloured 3mm acrylic lens.
These windows can be secured from the inside by a small slide- bolt.
You can choose the colour of the window frame to match the walls or the door.
You can choose the colour of the lens or, stick with the standard clear option.
You can choose the cut-out shape of the window from our selection including hearts, clubs, circle, cottage-style.
Door
The gothic style door comes with door furniture to suit.
You can choose the colour of the door from our standard range of colours.
Door Furniture
A barn style latch comes as standard, allowing the door to close, yet allowing easy access from both outside and in.
A traditional back door lock with key could be added for security.

Furniture for Inside
We have already said that the ‘Podpad’ has a number of uses and we offer a number of additional furniture to personalise your ‘Podpad’ allowing you to optimise the suitability to your needs.
1 - We offer our handmade timber-frame beds which fit perfectly along or across the ‘Podpad’. These beds come pack-flat and a simple slot together frame with a slatted bed base is topped with a 3” foam mattress, covered in a wipeable/washable zip-off/on cover.
2 - We offer a preassembled wooden chest of drawers – in solid wood for your decoration if required – varnish or painting to suit
3 - We offer hanging shelves, fabric storage units, coat hooks, waste bins – all which pack flat when stored away and not in use.
Electrics
To further enhance your ‘podpadding’ experience, we can offer a 240v electrics package converting your outdoor ‘Podpad’ into a spare room, offering you the facility to install lighting, sound system, laptop and a multitude of chargers on mains. A 30metre cable will connect you up and with three 240v sockets for the ‘podpad’, you can rest assured that all safety requirements are met.
